Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan was today detained in connection with the alleged assault on Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash.
Khan, the Okhla MLA, was detained on the basis of an FIR against him. Delhi Police spokesman Dependra Pathak said Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s adviser VK Jain was also questioned for three hours on the complaint by Mr Prakash.
The spokesman also said, another AAP MLA Prakash Jarwal, who was detained last night, has been arrested.
The Chief Secretary claims to have been assaulted on Monday night at Mr Kejrirwal’s residence during an official meeting.
