Ajay MakenDelhi Pradesh Congress Committee has described the Delhi budget as hollow with manipulated statistics, which has not fulfilled the aspirations of the people of Delhi. It is a budget that is full of lies, just on the paper, and a betrayal on the people of Delhi

The DPCC president Ajay Maken said the Delhi Government, under the Chief Ministership of Sheila Dikshit, had done a remarkable work for the development of Delhi in 15 years, but the AAP Government has ruined those works in three years.

Maken, along with former Ministers of the Delhi Government and Speakers, including Dr A.K. Walia, Subhash Chopra, Dr Yoganand Shastri, Dr Narendra Nath, Arvinder Singh Lovely, Dr Kiran Walia, Ramakanth Goswami, Mangatram Singhal and chief spokesperson Sharmistha Mukherjee watched the budget presented by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on a big screen at the DPCC office, Rajiv Bhawan, here before giving their reactions, which were based on their own experiences as Delhi Ministers.

Maken said that it was very strange that in every AAP budget, it is claimed that 1500 new buses would be added to the DTC fleet, 1000 Mohalla Clinics would be established, and CCTV cameras will be setup and free Wi-Fi would be provided, but the ground reality is totally different as none of these promises have been fulfilled.
