Kasab – the lone Pakistani terrorist caught alive during the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai on 2008 – has appealed against his death sentence. He was convicted last year of waging war against India and given the death sentence by a special court in Mumbai.

166 people were killed in India’s worst terror attack after Pakistani terrorists attacked different parts of Mumbai. The Division bench consisting of Justices Ranjana Desai and R V More on Sunday reserved order and kept the matter for directions for Monday after the arguments in the case concluded last month. The division bench heard the arguments of the prosecution lawyer Ujwal Nikam and defence lawyers Amin Solkar and Farhana Shah for over 45 days.
