Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minster Akhilesh Yadav has announced to further increase the financial assistance from Rs 20 lakh to 30 lakh to the family members of Mohammad Akhlaque, who was lynched over rumours about cow slaughter in Bishada village of Dadri in GautamBuddha Nagar district last Monday.

Three brothers of slain Akhlaque will also be given rupees five lakh each. Initially government announced ten lakh to the the family which was increased yesterday.

The Family members of Mohammad Akhlaque met Chief Minister at his residence in Lucknow today. Chief Minister expressed sorrow on the fateful incident and said the government is with them. Akhilesh Yadav assured complete security to the family. He said the culprits, any body, will not be spared and dealt with law. Chief minister announced free of cost treatment of Akhlaque’s son who was also seriously injured in the incident. While talking to media, Sri Yadav said if needed family also will be provided job.

Family members talking to media said that they have full faith and rely on government but the security provided today will be withdrawn later on, hence family is compelled and intending to shift some where else.

Meanwhile, Governor Ram Naik has appealed people to maintain peace and calm and cooperate government. He said the government is doing its work.
