and asked him to convene both Houses of Legislature from June 2 to urgently pass the full Budget.
Governor H R Bhardwaj  told Chief Minister that he expected the Centre’s decision on his recommendation in two days and asked Yeddyurappa to wait for a day or two for his decision on the state cabinet recommendation for convening the Assembly from 2nd June.

A ministerial delegation, led by Yeddyurappa, met the Governor at Raj Bhavan and requested him to give approval for convening the Assembly session, which the Cabinet on 16th May said was necessary to pass the full budget for better implementation of the development programmes.

Speaking to the media persons here the Chief Minister said the Governor asked him to wait till Central Government replies to the Report sent by him. When asked whether the Speaker will be changed in the background of Supreme Court strictures, the Chief Minister ruled out any change.

Yeddyurappa also said that Prime Minister and Home Minister have assured him that no decision that could be considered unconstitutional will be taken by them on Governor’s report.
