India on Thursday said it is closely following the peace and reconciliation related developments in Afghanistan.
In reply to a media query, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said, India is in touch with Iran, Saudi Arabia and Russia on the security situation in Afghanistan.
He said, India will continue to take steps which can bring peace and stability to Afghanistan.
