A delgation led by state BJP chief Keshav Prasad Maurya met Uttar Pradesh, governor Ram Naik and handed him over a six point memorandum in Kairana exodus matter.

Later talking to media in Lucknow, Mr.Maurya said that BJP has asked for a CBI inquiry into the matter. He said that he has also demanded that people who were forced to flee from Kairana must be rehabilitated.

The chairman of BJP probe committee, Suresh Khanna said that the law and order condition in Kairana is extremely worse. He said that extortion, threatening and atrocities of the goons of Muqim Kala and Furqan gangs have compelled people to leave their houses and properties behind.

He claimed that both the gangs are running their extortion racket from inside jail, which is not possible without the patronage of administration.

On this occasion MP Hukum Singh reiterated his earlier stand that this event of exodus must not be seen with religious angle. He said that it is failure and total collapse of law and order machinery in Kairana which compelled people to leave their native places.

Cabinet minister Sahab Singh Saini took a meeting in Shamli with district administration about the ongoing controversy and instructed that no one should be allowed to disturb the communal harmony of Kairana.

On this occasion DM Shamli Sujeet Kumar apprised minister Saini that instead of exodus, 154 new families have come to settle in Kairana in last few years.
