BJP has justified the scrapping of quota for Muslims in educational institutions in Karnataka saying that quota was factually, legally and constitutionally incorrect.
The senior BJP leader and Union Minister Pralhad Joshi told media in parliament house complex that earlier when the state had gone for reservation for OBC on the basis of religion it was quashed by the Apex Court.
He said now the Karnataka government has scrapped the quota on the same grounds.
