Bihar JD(U) President Wasistha Narayan Singh has said that NCP issue would be sorted out soon and expressed hope that NCP will remain a part of the grand alliance to take on the BJP-led NDA in the coming state assembly elections. His remarks came after NCP threatened to pull out from grand alliance over seat sharing formula by RJD, JD(U) and Congress alliance for upcoming state assembly elections.
Party leader Tariq Anwar had said in Patna that the party would not accept anything less than 12 seats. Mr. Anwar said that the demand for 12 seats is on the basis of Lok Sabha performance in which it secured over 5 lakh 60 thousand votes and won a solitary Katihar parliamentary seat allotted to it in the alliance.
