Election Commission has directed Bihar Administration to arrest mischievous elements with history of electoral malpractices. Election Commission team comprising Deputy Election Commissioners Vinod Zutsi and Umesh Sinha, reviewed election preparedness including the requirement of forces and preventive measures to be taken before the Bihar Assembly polls begins.
Mr. Zutsi said, all booth spread over 243 Assembly constituencies in the state would be manned by Central Police Forces to ensure free and fair polls. He said, a final decision on the deployment of force to Bihar would be taken after consultations between the Election Commission and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
