A team of National Investigation Agency officials has reached the spot for investigation into the derailment of Jagdalpur-Bhubaneswar-Hirakhand Express near Kuneru in Vizianagaram district in which 41 people were killed and more than one hundred injured. Accident spot which is in the Naxal-prone zone. The agency is likely to expand the scope of the ongoing probe by the railways and the state CID.
Earlier Andhra Pradesh, the CID has started investigation into the derailment of Jagdalpur-Bhubaneswar-Hirakhand Express.
