After meeting Shivpal Yadav and CM Akhilesh at his residence in Lucknow, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh today said that Shivpal Singh will be the state unit head of the party and all the departments taken from him will also be restored.
He also announced among enthused party workers that there is no difference of opinion in the party. While talking to the party workers at Party HQs he said that there is nothing wrong in the party and everything is alright.
Without naming anyone, he said that whoever comes in the midst of family matters will be kicked out.
After much parleys, deliberations and coaxing with the warring factions, the patriarch Mulayam Singh took command in his hand today and announced that Gayatri Prajapati will again become minister.
Addressing the perplexed party workers in Lucknow, he said time and again that there is nothing wrong in the party.
He lamented that there were some issues which must not have come out in the open.
Pride of Shivpal Yadav seems to have been restored when Mulayam hinted that he will shoulder the responsibility of state unit chief and his departments will be given back to him.
It is worth mentioning that when Mulayam Singh was addressing the workers, Shivpal and Akhilesh supporters kept shouting slogans in favour of them separately.
Meanwhile sending out a stern signal to Samajwadi Party Rajya Sabha member Amar Singh, UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav said on Friday that he and his father, Mulayam Singh Yadav, have decided to not allow the interference of outsiders+ in party and government.
Akhilesh Yadav was replying to a question at a programme on a private TV news channel.
When asked how many “outsiders” was he referring to, Akhikesh said: “Ek bhi ho sakta hai (It could be one)”.
Akhilesh Yadav had, since a long time, been directly opposed to the idea of the return of Amar Singh in the party but always gave in to the pressure of party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
