US President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin today discussed the Syrian issue and the situation in Ukraine.
According to the Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the talks lasted longer than planned and focused mostly on the Syrian issue and the situation in Ukraine. He said, Obama and Putin have also held a one-on-one meeting behind closed doors.The meeting took place in Hangzhou on the sidelines of the G20 summit.
Meanwhile,U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov have again failed to reach a deal on a ceasefire deal. This is the second time in two weeks that both leaders have failed to reach a deal.
