ALIGARH : Dr M. Saad Alam, Coordinator, Centre of Advanced Research in Electrified Transportation (CARET), Aligarh Muslim University delivered a talk on Electric Vehicles at Maruti, which is one of the leading automobile manufacturers of India.
Dr. Alam said that the interaction also focused on improving relationship between industry and academia. He said his visit was a productive experience and it would help open new vistas between the Maruti and AMU. Maruti has requested him to conduct a training session for its research and development team every month and expressed willingness to sign a MoU with CARET, he added.
Dr. Alam said that Maruti is focusing on advancement of automobile market and planning to introduce different types of electric vehicles in near future.
