Ruling Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh, has expelled its Sitapur MLA Rampal Yadav for six years for anti party activities. Party spokesperson and minister Rajendra Chaudhary, in a statement, said that Rampal Yadav who was suspended earlier on the charges of anti-party activities, has now been expelled from the party for six years.
The Samajwadi Party on Monday had suspended Rampal Yadav, an MLA from Biswan of Sitapur and expelled his son Jitendra Yadav for their anti-party activities in the district panchayat polls. MLA Rampal had fielded his son Jitendra Yadav for District Panchayat Chairman’s post in Sitapur against the party candidate Seema Gupta.
The party had earlier suspended party MLA from Bijnor, Ruchiveera, from legislative party, and expelled her husband Udayan Veera, former Member of Parliament Yashveer Singh as well as party leaders Jamil Ansari and Khalil-ur-Rehman. Another SP leader Subodh Yadav, son of party MLA Rameshwar Yadav, was also expelled on charges of anti-party activities.
But the Party on Tuesday revoked the expulsion of Subodh Yadav, son of SP MLA from Etah, Rameshwar Yadav. Subodh, along with CM Akhilesh Yadav’s aides, Sunil Singh Sajan and Anand Bhadauria, was expelled by SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav for anti-party activities. The expulsion of Sunil and Anand has already been revoked.
