The US has launched nationwide enforcement operations to arrest and deport illegal immigrants who entered the country and have lost asylum cases. The US Secretary of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson today confirmed the development. He said the Immigration and Customs Enforcement departments since last weekend have been taking into custody, adults who entered the country illegally with children. Most of those arrests are of those entering the US from its southern border. According to some estimates over 11 million immigrants are living in the US illegally.
