Parliament today congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for successful launching of six Singapore Satellites and putting them into orbit through Polar Satellites Launch Vehicle PSLV-C29. Making a reference in the Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra said the country is extremely proud of the accomplishment by its space scientists.
She wished ISRO success for future endeavours.
Rajya Sabha Chairman Mohammed Hamid Ansari said the launch has added another significant milestone in the development of in space technology. He said the credit for all these landmark achievements goes to country’s scientific community, particularly those working in ISRO. It was launched from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh yesterday.
