NATO rules out sending ground troops to fight IS militants in Syria

NATO has ruled out sending ground troops to fight so-called Islamic State militants in Syria. In an Interview, NATO General Secretary Jens Stoltenberg stressed the need to bolster local forces against Islamic State. He said the conflict is not a war between the West and the Islamic world, but against extremism and terrorism.
