A special MCOCA court has convicted 12 accused in the 2006 Mumbai train blasts. One accused was acquitted. Quantum of punishment will be announced on 14th of this month. As per the prosecution’s case, as many as 188 people were killed and over 800 injured when serial explosions ripped apart the first class compartments of Mumbai’s suburban trains on 11 July, 2006.
