BJP on Wednesday taunted Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for sharing dais with his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal to woo the voters in the upcoming state assembly elections saying it is like a drowning man clutching at a straw.

BJP Spokesperson Shahnawz Hussain said Mr. Kejriwal is sharing the same boat with Congress and RJD and he was opposing them only for the name sake. He said Delhi Chief Minister should answer how he will campaign for the JD(U), RJD and Congress combine to whom he was opposed. Hussain said Mr. Kejriwal has been exposed in Delhi and will no longer be able to mislead the people of Bihar.

He also rejected the charge that Prime Minister Narendra Modi tried to buy the voters of Bihar by announcing 1.25 lakh crore rupee package. He said the state deserved the package as a matter of right which was denied by the Congress led UPA government.
