New Delhi– Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi here and apprissed the PM about the two day brain storming session on Krishi Bima Yojna held at Bhopal in which various agriculture scientists, agriculture experts from within and outside country gave there valuable suggestion on the subject. Chouhan will be submitting a detailed report on the Krishi Bima Yojna to the PM.
He also informed in detail about the Krishi Mahotsav in state in which Krishi Rath went to about 23000 different panchayats of the state to educate and create awareness among the farmers about the latest technology and scientific invention in the field of Agriculture.
During the meeting Chouhan also informed the Prime Minister about the preparation going on for Simhastha 2016 and urged for additional assistance from Central for this purpose. He informed that PM Modi will grace the closing ceremony of Simhastha to be held on 14 May 2016. He also invited the Prime Minister to inaugurate the Vishwa Hindi Sammelan to be held this September at Bhopal.
