All the Oil Marketing Companies have reassured the public across Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and the Union Territories of Chandigarh and Jammu and Kashmir that the supply of petroleum products and LPG is stable and adequate to meet current demand. The Oil Marketing Companies are closely monitoring the situation and have taken necessary steps to streamline supply logistics and expedite deliveries. Executive Director of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) and State-level Coordinator for the Oil Industry in Punjab, Ashutosh Gupta, has told Akashvani Jalandhar Correspondent that the stock position of petroleum products and LPG is normal across the states.
He said, keeping in view the migrant labour living in some of these states, they may also avail a 5-litre cylinder from any of the nearest distributors without booking.
He has advised consumers to refrain from panic purchasing. He requested the LPG Consumers to book the cylinders through digital modes only, as it will help ensure a smooth, transparent, and hassle-free delivery process, enabling timely service to genuine customers.
