Communication and IT Minister Ravishankar Prasad today ruled out any alliance with Janata Dal (United) for the upcoming Assembly elections in Bihar. He told reporters in New Delhi that the merger of Janata parties will have no effect on BJP’s prospects in the state. Mr Prasad said, any alliance with Nitish Kumar is totally out of question and the door is shut for him in NDA. Assembly elections in Bihar are scheduled to be held in later this year.
