The General Observer Dr.Piyush Singla and Police Observer Shri Amardeep Singh Rai today reviewed the situation and arrangements to conduct the peaceful General Elections in Puducherry Parliamentary Constituency.
District Election Officer cum District Collector A. Kulothungan, explained to the observers about the number of polling stations, training to polling booth officials, Media Monitoring Committee, Flying squads, facilities available in polling stations.The observers advised the officials to commit to fair and fearless elections.
The review meeting was virtually attended by District Collector, Karaikal D.Manikandan; Regional Administrator, Mahe D.Mohan Kumar and Regional Administrator Yanam R.Munusamy apart from other officials.
