Bringing festive cheer to Dalal Street, both the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange will host the special Diwali Muhurat Trading session on November 8 this year. According to the circular released by the exchanges, the markets will open at 2:20 PM and close at 3:30 PM. The Muhurat trading marks the auspicious beginning of the new Samvat year, as investors make their symbolic trades for prosperity and good fortune. All trades executed during this session will carry normal settlement obligations.
