Asian markets ended mixed today. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng surged 3.4 percent, China’s Shanghai Composite Index gained 1.8 percent and Singapore’s Straits Times index rose 0.6 percent. On the other side, Japan’s Nikkei-225 declined 0.8 percent and South Korea’s Kospi fell 0.4 percent.
In intra-day trade, European markets were trading in green. Germany’s DAX surged 1.8 percent, France’s CAC-40 gained 0.8 percent and London’s FTSE-100 was trading 0.4 percent up when reports last came in.
