The PSLV- C 16 carrying Resourcesat 2 and two smaller satellites is scheduled for lift off at 10. 12 am on Wednesday. Weighing 1,206 kg, Resourcesat -2 is an advanced remote sensing satellite for facilitating the study and management of natural resources. An Indo-Russian Youthsat for stellar and atmospheric studies and a micro satellite for imaging applications built by the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore are the other two satellites to be placed in orbit.
