Union Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve today said that  Mumbai’s railway station would soon get airport-like makeovers with passenger-friendly amenities. The minister was speaking at the inauguration event of beautification, renovation, renovation, and conservation of Byculla station in South Mumbai today.

Mr. Danve said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has allocated Rs 11,000 crore in the budget for railways. He added that PM Modi has prioritized railways’ makeover, especially considering Maharashtra’s requirements.

Mumbai Ordinary Railway carries 3,000 round trips and 90,000 to 1 lakh passengers. He informed that Mumbai’s air-conditioned train fares have been slashed by 50 percent.
