Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Bengaluru Tech Summit tomorrow morning via video conference. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Dr. C N Aswath Narayana has said that the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had launched the event 22 years ago and now in the 23rd edition of the tech summit everyone is looking forward to hearing the inaugural speech of Prime Minister Modi tomorrow.

He informed that Australia Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Swiss Confederation Vice President Guy Parmelin and many other prominent international personalities will participate in the inaugural event.

Highlighting the significance of the event, Dr.Ashwath Narayana said that 25 tech nations are participating in the summit along with thought leaders, industry captains, technocrats, researchers, innovators, investors, policy makers and educators. He added that 12 Memorandum of Understanding will be signed with foreign countries paving the way for investments in Karnataka. Over 200 Indian companies are setting up virtual exhibitions.

The summit to be held from November 19 to 21 will see the participation of 4000 delegates, 270 speakers in 75 panel discussions. Some 50 Indian tech start ups will showcase their technology to European companies. Two MOUs will be signed in the areas of cybersecurity and agri-tech between Karnataka and Netherlands.
