The Government has strongly rejected the viral message on social media platforms claiming that an Indian Air force jet has been shot down. In a tweet, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) termed it as fake.
It said, no such claimed action has been conducted by Indian Air force on any neighbouring country. PIB urged people to remain beware of panic mongers and informed that the images used in the fake message are from a previous date.
