The West Bengal Government has decided to open all Jute mills in the State. Announcing this in Kolkata today, the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that the decision has been taken to ensure supply of Jute Bags as demanded from various circles. She said that Jute mills will work with 15 percent work force strictly maintaining the norms of lockdown. Earlier , Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani had requested Miss Banerjee for reopening of Jute mills in the State. Miss Banerjee also announced reopening of Brickfields and Tea Gardens wearhouses. The Chief Minister said, her Government has decided to extend financial help to the migrant workers of the State who have been stranded in other states due to present situation.
