Prime Minister Narendra Modi has firmly asserted that the centre will not go back from the implementation of Triple Talak Legislation. Addressing a public rally at Moinaguri of West Bengal Friday this afternoon Mr Modi said that his government is committed for the social justice of Muslim women. Criticizing the opposition Congress on the issue, the Prime Minister said that the party is not only obstructing the legislation in the Parliament but also saying that it would be withdrawn if voted to power in ensuing Lok Sabha elections.
Mr Modi criticized West Bengal Chief Minister’s sit-in-demonstration against CBI move in chit fund scam in Kolkata. He criticized Mamata Banerjee for giving protection to those accused in the cheat fund scam. Mr.Modi warned that those involved in Sarda, Narda and Rose Valley cheat fund scams would not be spared irrespective of their portfolio.
He also ridiculed the recent assembly of opposition leaders joining with Miss Banerjee in Kolkata. The Prime Minister strongly criticized the ruling of Trinamul Congress for allowing middlemen free run in the state. Earlier, the Prime Minister inaugurated the circuit bench of the Calcutta High Court in Jalpaiguri and laid the foundation stone for National Highway Project.
The Prime Minister reiterated his government’s commitment SAAB KA SATH SAB KA BIKASH once again at a public rally in North Bengal. The Prime Minister said that the centre is committed for the welfare of the tea-garden workers and development of the region.
The inauguration of the circuit bench of the Calcutta High Court will reduce the hardship of the people of North Bengal which was got delayed for many many years. During the visit, the Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for four laning of Falakata – Salsalabari section of National High Way 31D. The cost of the project is 1 thousand 938 crore rupees.
