sisodiyaThe Delhi government will roll out a scheme within three to four months to enable citizens to get 40 public services, including caste certificates and driving licence, at their doorstep.

This was decided in a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Citing it as home delivery of governance, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said, it is being done for the first time in the country. He said, the scheme will be implemented through a private agency which will hire facilitators to set up call centres.

Mr Sisodia told reporters that various certificates will be covered under the scheme in the first phase. He said, 30 more services will be added to the scheme in the second phase.
