There is a provision of getting duplicate receipts for payment of various types of central and state taxes paid on-line through website of Central Bank of India.
But after providing payment of Goods and Service Tax -GST, the website of the Bank is not yet updated to provide duplicate receipts for GST payment even though there does exist provision for issue of duplicate receipts for payments of all other taxes. It also becomes necessary because the website usually goes disrupted soon after GST payment is received on-line through website of the Bank. Central Bank of India should urgently modify its website for provision of providing duplicate receipts of all types of taxes including also GST.
