US President-elect Donald Trump has appointed Vice President-elect Mike Pence as the head of his White House transition team that would shape the direction of the real estate tycoon’s administration. Three of Mr Trump’s children as also part of the group.

The Republican, who won the general elections earlier this week against Democrat Hillary Clinton, will be sworn in as the 45th US President on January 20th, replacing Barack Obama, whose tenure ends that day.

Till then, the 70-year-old has a transition team which would help him prepare to hit the ground running from day one.
