VENKAIAH NAIDUUnion Minister for Information and Broadcasting Venkaiah Naidu rubbished the rumours of mid-term elections. He said that the government would complete its full-term before going to polls in 2019.

Speaking to media person in Hyderabad Sunday, he questioned the basis of this rumour.

 

“I don’t know from where this rumour came from. We are given a mandate for five years and we are going to complete it”, he said.

The Minsiter also said, BJP party president Amit Shah and even the Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been asking its cadre and government to work hard and prepare for 2019 elections. Mr Naidu said, BJP has been given a mandate for five years and it will complete the tenure and go to polls in 2019.
