Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced a cash award of 25 lakh rupees for Vandana Katariya, who represented India at Tokyo Olympics in Women’s Hockey. Mr Dhami said, it is a matter of pride for the state that a girl from Uttarakhand participated in the Olympics and performed well. Chief Minister said, a new sports policy will be implemented in the state soon.
