Anti Terrorist Squad of Uttar Pradesh Police conducted raids at the hideouts and offices of banned outfit PFI on Sunday. 70 people have been detained while two persons have been arrested during the one-day operation carried out by Uttar Pradesh Police across the state. 30 teams of ATS carried out this one-day operation in 10 districts of the state. Two persons were arrested in Varanasi during this operation.
In its previous operations against PFI, the Uttar Pradesh police had already identified 211 people related with the banned outfit. The raids today were carried out in search of these suspects.
