Apollo Hospitals chairman Dr Pratap Reddy has said Tamil Nadu chief minister J.Jayalalithaa who is undergoing treatment in the critical care unit of the hospital since September 22 is now in good health.
Responding to the queries of media on the sidelines of a private function in Chennai, he said she is free from the infections she had earlier. He clarified that Ms Jayalalithaa has remarkably responded to the treatment.
When asked about shifting her to the private ward from the intensive care, Dr Reddy said based on her convenience, she can be shifted. On her discharge, he said when she feels like getting back home, she can get discharged, since she is now in recuperating phase.
