 Time for change of guard in Assam: PM Modi Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed four rallies in Assam and sought a decisive mandate from the voters of where 61 assembly constituencies are going to the polls on April 11.

Launching a scathing attack on Tarun Gogoi government , PM Modi said the congress in Assam is least concerned about the development of the state but only bothered about the well being of its family members .

PM Modi vociferously attacked the Congress Government in Assam for protecting the dynasty and failing on the development front.

PM Modi said that every state of the country has a section of the population living below the poverty line.

However, taking a dig at the state government, PM said that it is only in Assam that BPL is characterised by the entire state for which state government is responsible.
Prime Minister said that the fencing along the border is top priority of the union government specially the Bagladesh Border to stop infiltration in Assam .

Sarada Scam also found a mention in PM’s Assam Rally . Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the money of the poor was not only looted in this scam in Bengal, but in Assam, Odisha and Bihar as well .

While PM spear headed the BJP’s election trail in Assam , Congress’s election campaign was lead by party Vice President Rahul Gandhi .

Outlining the achievements of The Gogoi govt. Rahul gandhi appealed the people to once again vote Congerss to power . While Electioneering is peaking in Assam , in West Bengal the nominations for the fourth and fifth phase of polling is on in full swing . TMC chief and state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee filed her nominations from Bhowanipur in Kolkata.

She is pitted against Deepa Das Munshi , wife of former Union Minster Priya Ranjan das munshi fighting on the ticket of cong-left combine .

BJP meanwhile has fielded great grandson of Netaji subash chandra bose , Chandra Kumar Bose.
The first phase of polling in Assam is over and the campaigning for the second and the last phase comes to close on saturday evening .

The state of Assam is in full grip of the election fever . Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday addressed several election rallies, where polling will be held on Monday .

These included Raha, Rangia, Sarbhog and Guwahati. PM Modi listed the failures of The Tarun Gogoi government and said its time for the change and urged the electorate to give mandate to the BJP in the state .

Amidst the Hectic campaigning in all poll bound states , election commission team lead by CEC Nasim Zaidi is touring Tamil Nadu .CEC assessed the poll preparedness in the state and also met the representatives of the various political parties .

BJP also released its third list of candidates in Kerela which includes the names 23 candidates .

This also includes the name of film actor Raja Seenam contesting from Trivandrum.
