Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekhara Rao has denied tapping telephone of his Andhra Pradesh counterpart Chandrababu Naidu. Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad, he said Mr Naidu can not escape from law in the cash for vote issue. He said, Mr Naidu caught red-handed while talking to a nominated MLA and it is the Anti Corruption Bureau to take action against anyone as it is investigating the case.
Mr Rao said Mr Naidu was making allegations about phone tapping to divert public attention. Recalling corruption cases involving top leaders of political parties, Mr Rao said Mr Naidu must clarify whether he spoke to MLA Stephenson and whether his party MLA gave money or not. He asked him to come out clean instead of making unnecessary allegations against Telangana Government.
