External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has sought a detailed report about the attack and looting of some foreigners at Pushkar in Rajasthan. Mrs Swaraj spoke to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje and asked her to provide all assistance to the foreign tourists. Mrs Raje assured the External Affairs Minister that strict action is being taken against the accused.
The bags of Spanish tourists have already been traced. Two men who are from the US and the UK, and the women from Spain and Turkey had gone to Ajaypal Dham from Pushkar on two motorcycles yesterday when five-six unidentified men attacked them and robbed them off their belongings. A case against the assailants was registered late last night.
