Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering a heat stroke. The actor was in Ahmedabad to watch the IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday.
“Shah Rukh Khan has been hospitalised at KD Hospital after he suffered from excessive heat. It is not a serious issue, and he will be discharged soon,” Ahmedabad Rural superintendent of police (SP) Om Prakash Jat said adding that Security in the area has been increased.
Shah Rukh Khan, co-owner of IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), celebrated the team’s win on Tuesday night at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Accompanied by his children, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan, Shah Rukh Khan greeted the audience following KKR’s impressive win over Sunrisers Hyderabad.
