Ranil WickremesingheSri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremsinghe on Friday took collective responsibility and apologized for failing to protect victims from Sunday’s attacks.

He said until the 12th of April, this information was passed around and action will be taken against all officials who neglected their duties. Mr Sirisena assured that security forces are capable of wiping out terrorism from the country.

Seven people were arrested along with explosives and suicide vests in the eastern province this evening as the situation remained tense over further attacks. Night curfew will be in place from 10 PM to 4 AM.
