One of the most important minister in the Prime Minister Modi cabinet Smriti Irani has been stripped of Human Resource Development or HRD portfolio and if sources are to be believed she has been given Textile ministry. New Cabinet minister Prakash Javadekar has been allotted high profile HRD ministry.
In other important changes made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his cabinet reshuffle, Venkaiah Naidu will now be Minister for Information and Broadcasting, a portfolio held by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley as an additional charge. Sadananda Gowda loses the Law Ministry to Ravi Shankar Prasad, who is also the Telecom Minister.
