A delegation of Sindhis today met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejrival and submitted a memorundum of their demand to him. It was first delegation of Sindhis which men Delhi chief minister.
The demands of Sindhis include granting of the minority status to the community, implimentation of the lingustic minority status to sindhis in Delhi.
Other demands include holiday on Chetichand, Sindhu Ghat at Yamuna river, PPP model school and colleges to run by sindhis …etc. Delegation member told AMN that CM listen them carefully and promised that he will definetely take some good steps for the betterment of sindhis.
He said he would look into the affairs of Sindhi Academy in Delhi. Meeting lasted for about half an hours under the banner of Sindhi Jagriti Sabha and Sindhi Alpakshankhayk Morcha strong groups of sindhis in Delhi.
Other delegation Paan walas led by Shri Hari Bhai Lalwani also raised some problems of paan walas facing in the capital.
“Meeting was held in very cordial atmoshphere and we hope that CM will do somthing for the betterment of Sindhis” said Shrikant Bhatia and Haribhai Lalwani of Sindhi Alpakshankhayk Morcha.
