President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu among several other leaders who have greeted Prime Minister on his birthday. In a tweet, the President said, Mr Modi has presented an ideal of loyalty in India’s life-values and democratic tradition. He prayed for his good health. In a tweet, Mr Naidu congratulated the Prime Minister for his efforts to take the country to new heights. Union Ministers and BJP leaders have also extended their wishes to the Prime Minister.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi along with several other BJP and non-BJP leaders wished the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday on his 70th birthday.

“Wishing PM Narendra Modi ji a happy birthday,” tweeted the Congress MP Rahul Gandhi.

Welfare activities were organised across the country to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, who turned 70 today. Bharatiya Janata Party has organised a week-long Seva Saptah to celebrate PM’s mark the occasion. Several programmes related to cleanliness, distribution of sanitary pads and wheel chairs and social service are being organized from 14th to 20th of this month across the country.

LS Speaker Om Birla extends birthday wishes to PM Modi on behalf of all members of House

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla today extended birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of all the members of the House. Earlier, the House was adjourned for one hour after paying tributes to Tirupati MP Balli Durga Prasad Rao.

As soon as the House met for the day, Speaker Om Birla informed the death of Tirupati MP Balli Durga Prasad Rao, who died at a private hospital in Chennai yesterday. Durga Prasad, a member of YSR Congress party represented Tirupati Parliamentary seat in the Lok Sabha.
