BJP has won all four Rajya Sabha seat for which voting was held in Rajasthan today. The winning candidates including Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiya Naidu and Party’s National vice president Om prakash Mathur.
The other candidates who stood victorious are Harsh Vardhan Singh and Ramkumar Verma. Total 199 MLAs out of 200 have cast their vote.

In Uttar Pradesh, repeating the history of a day old Vidhan Parishad poll results, all the seven candidates of the ruling Samajwadi Party recorded victory in Rajyasabha polls on Saturday.
It’s candidates Beni Prasad Verma, Reoti Raman Singh, Amar Singh, Sanjay Seth, Vishwambhar Prasad Nishad, Suresh Nagar and Sukhram Singh Yadav were declared victorious in preferential votes. Both candidates of BSP Satish Chand Mishra and Ashok Siddhartha have also won the Rajyasabha seats.
While lone candidate of BJP Shiv Pratap Shukla has also made it to Rajyasabha.
Kapil Sibal of Congress was ahead of Independent Priti Mahapatra, a BJP supported candidate, when the reports last came in.
Kapil Sibal got 25 and Mahapatra 18 votes of first preference, till the last news poured in.
