Prime Minister Narendra Modi today emphasized the need to de-link terrorism and religion. Addressing a gathering of Indian diaspora in Kuala Lumpur this evening, Mr Modi said terrorism is the biggest threat to the world today. It knows no boundary, uses people religion but kills people of all faith. The Prime Minister said the only the distinction is that those who believe in humanity and those who do not. Without taking any organization name, the Prime Minister said internet couldn’t not be recruiting ground.

Mr Modi announced one million dollars for the Indian Community Welfare Fund that was set up in 1950s for encouraging people of Indian origin in higher education. In a spree of announcements, Mr Modi said 9 VISA Connection Centres will be established in Malaysia to provide Indian Diaspora access to easy VISA services. He assured that India and Malaysia will work on recognition of the universities that offer higher education in the two countries.
