Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated new office building of Bharatiya Janata Party in New Delhi
Equipped with modern facilities, the headquarter spread across one lakh 70 thousand square meter has been constructed in a record time of fourteen months. The entire new campus is wifi enabled and has been linked with all state party offices via video-conferencing.
Dedicating the new headquarters to 11 crore party workers and their dreams, Prime Minister Narendra Modi termed the building as a centre for service to the nation.
Currently, construction of BJP offices in 635 districts of the country is being undertaken. PM Modi said there are several political parties in the country with their own views and ideologies but only one aim, which is to serve the nation. He added that this adds to the beauty of democracy in India.
There are three entry points in the newly constructed office. First and second will be for senior leaders, office bearers and workers. While the third gate will be for media. Common man will have entry from the stairs constructed near the front open space. Proposal has been made to put a big screen in front of the building, where live telecast of activities related to party and programmes will be done. Addressing the gathering, BJP President Amit Shah said under the leadership of Narendra Modi, BJP is moving ahead to turn into reality the dream of a ‘New India.’
There are two buildings at the new headquarters. One building is three storey and the other one is seven storey. 70 rooms have been constructed along with 2 conference halls.
Ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP is all set to script a new chapter with its hightech headquarters.
